From November 3 to 5, we had school festival at this university! I went there for 3 days to perform Kpop dancing I practiced for about 3 months! I would like to share what I ate for these 3 days 💛
Day 1 (Nov 3, Fri) :
There were so many people lining up for stalls even the first day of school festival! I got these 4 dishes in total for Day-1. The left top one is donuts! It was 500 yen for 6 donuts. I was able to choose the flavor of syrup which are chocolate or caramel, but I chose both flavor because I couldn't choose 😣 It has whip cream on the corner, so I dipped the donuts into it 💫
One of my friends said she wanted to eat dice steak (サイコロステーキ), so we got one (right top corner)! We got this for 500 yen, and there were about 10 pieces of steak in a cup!
Next, me and my friend who got steak together went to get beef stew (left down corner)! It was my idea to go get beef stew because it was so attractive to me. We were able to get one and the people selling the beef stew told us that we were the first customers during this school festival! I really liked beef stew, I think it was the best meal in what I ate during the 3days!
Another friend wanted to eat something and found a stroll of cruffle, so we decided to try one! Cruffle is the mix of croissants and waffle. It was 500 yen for 2 cruffles (right down corner)! We were able to choose the flavor and toppings out of 3 each, and I chose Strawberry jam for flavor and almonds for topping. My friend chose caramel(I think) and almonds for topping. I heard that there was other cruffle stroll, but a friend who tried other cruffle said that the cruffle I had was better than hers!
Day 2 (Nov 4, Sat):
The second day of school festival, we weren’t able to have enough time to go through strolls because we were busy for our performances 💦 At the day, we had these on the picture for lunch! The banana with chocolate was 300 yen (I think), and it was great! The right top corner was dumplings! It was 400 yen for 3 dumplings, but I was able to get one more because I had a panflet that has a coupon! And I don’t even remember what the right down corner one was 😭 But I remember it was good!
Before going back to our classroom, we got something to drink from a stroll! Only me choosing different flavor so I look bullied 🤣 but I loved the taste! We were able to enjoy the second day as well ❣️
Day 3 (Nov 5, Sun):
It was the most busiest day in 3 days! So I was only able to eat this Onigiri stick with pork, and Maritozzo. So I didn't have enough time to enjoy strolls on the last day of school festival, but I was able to try many strolls in this 3 days!
I think I go to school festival next year too unless I quit my Kpop dance cover team, so I am already excited for the strolls and foods next year! Thank you for reading 😆
Although I didn't have a chance to go to the university festival this year, your description of it (especially the food that was being sold there) made me feel as though I was there myself. I had no idea that beef played such a big role in the festival. Thank you for letting me know that "cruffle" are a mix of croissants and waffles. That's new to me.
